AWARD CEREMONY OF THE V-TH ONLINE-QUIZ FOR YOUNG PHYSICISTS FROM THE PHYSICAL BRANCH OF THE RUSSIAN ACADEMY OF SCIENCES. Еhe award ceremony for the winners of the 5th All-Russian Young Physicists Quiz , organized by the RAS Physical Sciences Division, was held at the Alexandrinsky Palace in Moscow. The event was attended by RAS leadership and members. 785 participants from 5 countries, representing 158 schools (including 21 RAS-affiliated schools), submitted 3,233 answers. The quiz featured creative physics challenges, such as explaining snake coiling before striking or icicle formation. Winners were awarded in different age categories. Since 2020, the annual quiz presents original problems by RAS academics, fostering youth interest in science.
